About my work
I go to the studio to play. My creative process is all about the emotion and story behind the art. I work intuitively, letting each layer speak to reveal the story beneath. There will be letters in there somewhere. I respond first and think later. I let the pieces talk via a mark, a layer, a large black brushstroke, flowing pen letters, or a colourful paint fest.

Is there a link between gardening and your creative practice?
Both are a balance of colours, shapes, and movement in the air and on paper. Gardening and creative practice are both soul-feeding essentials.
What will you show and share on the day?
Art to show or sell. I will be playing with ink or paint, drawing inspiration from around me. Writing a name or two.
What's in your veggie patch?
Tomatoes, basil, and 'weeds.' I have a fair-sized garden where everything is as low maintenance as possible. I love my garden, but I love my studio more!!
