How should Gumboots fit? Stepping Into Creative Harvest with Merry People

Style & Comfort: Just what we want from our Merry People gumboots
Style & Comfort: Just what we want from our Merry People gumboots

If you’ve ever wandered through a paddock, garden or country market and ended the day with sore feet or blisters, you’ll know just how important good footwear really is. At Creative Harvest, we celebrate practical creativity, regional living and doing things well,

and that’s exactly why we’re thrilled to have Merry People as the major sponsor of our Creative Harvest Afternoon Tea Party.

Gone are the days when gumboots were clunky, uncomfortable and purely functional. Merry People has completely reimagined the humble gumboot, creating contemporary, well-designed boots that are as comfortable as they are stylish. Perfect for country walks, market days, dog walking, gardening… and yes, even a Creative Harvest outing.

Designed for Real Life (and Real Feet)

  • Made with natural rubber

  • Flexible neoprene lining, helping to create cushion comfort and keep your feet warmer in the colder months

  • In-built arch support, so they're super comfy for all day wear

  • Easy to slip-on/off

  • Easy to clean, just hose/wipe them down

  • Unisex + Adult & Kid sizes (something for everyone)

  • If boots aren't for you, there are clogs and sandals too!

From Garden Paths to Afternoon Tea

One of the reasons we love Merry People at Creative Harvest is their versatility. Their ankle boots transition seamlessly from gardening to walking the dog, running errands, or strolling through a country event without needing a wardrobe change.

And let’s be honest, nothing beats being comfortable while enjoying a cuppa, scones and good conversation at our Afternoon Tea Party.

"I’ve had these yellow Bobbi Merry People boots for over five years and look how good they still are. They’re my OG pair — once you own a pair, you know you’ll end up building a collection of colours and styles because they’re just so cute and comfy. I wear them everywhere, from the veggie patch to farmers’ markets, to cafés — and now even to The Creative Harvest Afternoon Tea Party.” 💛👢 Kristy Yarragon, Gippsland

Colour, Character and a Bit of Fun

Just like Creative Harvest, Merry People embraces individuality. Whether you’re drawn to earthy, neutral tones or bold colours and playful prints, there’s a style to suit every personality.

A bright pair of gumboots can lift your mood on a grey day, and we’re firm believers that practical things can still bring joy.

Easy Care for Everyday Wear

Merry People gumboots are designed to be worn often and loved hard. They’re easy to clean, easy to maintain, and built to last. A quick hose-down or wash with warm water and mild soap will keep them looking fresh. Once dry, a little olive oil or protective spray can revive the natural rubber. Simple care, great longevity.
