At Creative Harvest, we believe that food is never just food. It is a story, connection, labour,

care and community, carried from paddock to plate by people who know the land and one

another. That is why we are deeply grateful to have Gippsland Jersey as a sponsor of our

Creative Harvest Afternoon Tea.

On the day, Gippsland Jersey will be supplying the cream, milk and butter used in the freshly

baked scones lovingly prepared by the CWA Drew and Nighthawks. Their rich cream will

crown each scone, and their milk will be poured into every cup of tea and coffee shared

around the table. These simple moments of generosity and nourishment sit at the heart of

what Creative Harvest is about.

But Gippsland Jersey’s contribution goes far beyond what is served.

Gippsland Jersey is a farmer-owned cooperative made up of 12 Gippsland dairy farming

families who have come together to create a more sustainable way forward. By pooling their

milk supply, they are strengthening local farming livelihoods, keeping value within the region,

and ensuring that high-quality, ethically produced dairy remains a viable future for family

farms.

This spirit of collaboration mirrors the values of Creative Harvest. Our event is designed to

support local makers, growers and suppliers who are invested in the long-term health of our

community. When you enjoy a scone topped with Gippsland Jersey cream, you are directly

supporting local farmers who are committed to caring for their land, their animals and each

other.

That sense of care is beautifully reflected in Gippsland Jersey’s 2026 Farming

Conversation Calendar. This thoughtfully produced calendar shines a light on 12 real

Gippsland dairy farming families, sharing heart-warming stories of life on the land alongside

stunning photography and seasonal recipes featuring their products.

Importantly, the calendar also supports farmer mental health, helping to open conversations

and foster understanding around the challenges faced by those working in agriculture. It is a

reminder that behind every bottle of milk is a family, a farm, and a story that deserves to be

seen and supported.

This alignment between Creative Harvest and Gippsland Jersey feels natural. Both are

rooted in place. Both believe in slowing down, gathering together and valuing the people

who make local food systems possible. Both understand that sustainability is not just about

what we consume, but how we support one another along the way.

We encourage our community to explore Gippsland Jersey’s Farming Conversation

Calendar and continue supporting local dairy beyond the event. It is available for just $5, with limited stock remaining. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

By choosing Gippsland Jersey, you are choosing flavour, integrity and community. And by

sharing their products at Creative Harvest, we are proud to celebrate a cooperative that

embodies the very best of Gippsland.

We look forward to raising a cup of tea with you, topped with cream, conversation and care.
